Our crew has been working in Millbrae since 2016, pulling permits from the city's Building Division on Lewis Avenue and running jobs across both the hillside neighborhoods above El Camino Real and the flatter streets closer to the Millbrae BART and Caltrain station. We know the difference between a yard on a gentle grade and one that drops steeply toward the back fence line - and we set up the job differently based on that.
The older neighborhoods west of El Camino Real are where most of our work happens. Streets like Magnolia Avenue and the surrounding blocks are full of mid-century ranch homes and split-levels on sloped lots with mature trees, and most of the fences we repair or replace in those neighborhoods have been dealing with root pressure, soil movement, or fog damage for years. We also work near the transit hub area, where some newer residential buildings have had fence projects tied to property line clarifications.
The adjacent community of Burlingame is just north of Millbrae along El Camino Real, and we handle projects throughout that city as well. To the south, San Bruno is another community we serve regularly - similar housing stock, similar permit environment.
